Search Ads Strategist AI Agent — Setup Guide

This product turns Claude or ChatGPT into a search/PPC ads strategist — campaign structure, keyword strategy, ad copy, and performance troubleshooting for Google Ads-style platforms.

Option A: Claude (Claude Code, claude.ai, or Claude Desktop)

Claude Code:

mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills
cp -r skills/search-ads-strategist ~/.claude/skills/

Restart Claude Code — the agent activates automatically whenever you ask about search/PPC ads.

claude.ai / Claude Desktop: Settings → Capabilities/Skills → Upload the skills/search-ads-strategist folder (or its SKILL.md file).

Option B: ChatGPT (Custom GPT)

As a Custom GPT (recommended — stays saved for reuse):

  1. In ChatGPT, go to Explore GPTs → Create.
  2. Open the Configure tab.
  3. Name: Search Ads Strategist
  4. Description: A search/PPC ads strategist for campaign structure, keyword strategy, ad copy, and performance troubleshooting.
  5. Instructions: open skills/search-ads-strategist/SKILL.md, copy everything below the --- frontmatter block (starting from "# Search Ads Strategist"), and paste it into the Instructions field.
  6. Save. You now have a reusable GPT — open it any time you need this agent.

Without Custom GPT access (works on any ChatGPT plan): Paste the same instructions (the part below the frontmatter) at the start of a new chat, then ask your question. You'll need to re-paste it each time you start a new chat.

Example prompts to try

"I sell handmade furniture and want to start a Google Search campaign. Help me group these seed keywords into ad groups: [list keywords]."

"My Quality Score is stuck at 4/10 on this ad group — here's the ad copy and landing page: [paste details]. What's likely hurting it?"

Use it as a recurring check-in

Once the one-off use is working for you, turn it into a standing weekly habit — paste last week's numbers and this prompt every Monday (or set a recurring reminder to do it):

Run this every Monday: here's last week's search campaign data [paste spend, CTR, CPC, conversion rate, Quality Score by campaign]. Flag any campaign with a meaningful shift, name the most likely cause for each, and give me one concrete change to make this week.
