Paid Social Ads Strategist AI Agent — Setup Guide

This product turns Claude or ChatGPT into a paid social ads strategist — campaign structure, ad angles/copy, and performance troubleshooting for Meta/TikTok-style platforms.

Option A: Claude (Claude Code, claude.ai, or Claude Desktop)

Claude Code:

mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills
cp -r skills/paid-social-ads-strategist ~/.claude/skills/

Restart Claude Code — the agent activates automatically whenever you ask about paid social ads.

claude.ai / Claude Desktop: Settings → Capabilities/Skills → Upload the skills/paid-social-ads-strategist folder (or its SKILL.md file).

Option B: ChatGPT (Custom GPT)

ChatGPT doesn't have a "Skills" system, but you can get the same persona using a Custom GPT (requires ChatGPT Plus/Team) or a pasted instruction block:

As a Custom GPT (recommended — stays saved for reuse):

  1. In ChatGPT, go to Explore GPTs → Create.
  2. Open the Configure tab.
  3. Name: Paid Social Ads Strategist
  4. Description: A paid social ads strategist for campaign structure, ad angles/copy, and performance troubleshooting.
  5. Instructions: open skills/paid-social-ads-strategist/SKILL.md, copy everything below the --- frontmatter block (starting from "# Paid Social Ads Strategist"), and paste it into the Instructions field.
  6. Save. You now have a reusable GPT — open it any time you need this agent.

Without Custom GPT access (works on any ChatGPT plan): Paste the same instructions (the part below the frontmatter) at the very start of a new chat, then ask your question in the same message or the next one. You'll need to re-paste it each time you start a new chat.

Example prompts to try

"I'm launching a $20/day Meta campaign for a skincare product targeting women 25-40. Help me structure the testing plan."

"My CTR dropped from 1.8% to 0.9% over the last week on this ad set — here's the data: [paste metrics]. What's likely going on?"

Use it as a recurring check-in

Once the one-off use is working for you, turn it into a standing weekly habit — paste last week's numbers and this prompt every Monday (or set a recurring reminder to do it):

Run this every Monday: here's last week's ad account data [paste spend, CTR, CPA, ROAS by ad set/creative]. Flag which ad sets or creatives are fatiguing, name the single most likely cause behind any meaningful CTR/CPA shift, and give me the one test to run this week — not a list of five.
