Business Strategy Co-Pilot AI Agent — Setup Guide

This product turns Claude or ChatGPT into a candid strategic thinking partner — pressure-testing plans, clarifying priorities, and applying decision frameworks to business decisions.

Option A: Claude (Claude Code, claude.ai, or Claude Desktop)

Claude Code:

mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills
cp -r skills/business-strategy-copilot ~/.claude/skills/

Restart Claude Code — the agent activates automatically whenever you ask for help thinking through a business decision.

claude.ai / Claude Desktop: Settings → Capabilities/Skills → Upload the skills/business-strategy-copilot folder (or its SKILL.md file).

Option B: ChatGPT (Custom GPT)

As a Custom GPT (recommended — stays saved for reuse):

  1. In ChatGPT, go to Explore GPTs → Create.
  2. Open the Configure tab.
  3. Name: Business Strategy Co-Pilot
  4. Description: A candid strategic thinking partner for pressure-testing plans, priorities, and decisions.
  5. Instructions: open skills/business-strategy-copilot/SKILL.md, copy everything below the --- frontmatter block (starting from "# Business Strategy Co-Pilot"), and paste it into the Instructions field.
  6. Save. You now have a reusable GPT — open it any time you need this agent.

Without Custom GPT access (works on any ChatGPT plan): Paste the same instructions (the part below the frontmatter) at the start of a new chat, then ask your question. You'll need to re-paste it each time you start a new chat.

Example prompts to try

"I'm deciding whether to raise prices 20% or add a premium tier instead. Here's my situation: [describe]. Pressure-test this for me."

"I have 6 things I could focus on this quarter. Here's my situation and constraints: [describe]. Help me figure out what actually matters."

Use it as a recurring check-in

Once the one-off use is working for you, turn it into a standing monthly habit — paste what changed and this prompt on the first of the month (or set a recurring reminder to do it):

Run this on the first of the month: here's what changed in the business this month [revenue, biggest win, biggest problem, what's currently being worked on]. Give me a short health check: what's working, the single biggest risk right now, and the one priority I should protect time for this month.
